We invite you to join in the fun and taste the excitement at the 28th annual Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival. Stouffville Strawberry Festival held every Canada Day weekend. June 29th - July 1st, 2012 The Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival is Stouffville's premier event, traditionally held on the Canada Day long weekend. Over 35,000 people visit this two-day traditional fair, that celebrates our community, our history, and our country. Description Strawberry Festival is a non-profit organization that is run entirely by a volunteer committee and relies on the generous support of our sponsors in the community. The Strawberry Festival offers something for everyone. Over 150 artisans, crafters, and merchants set-up shop on Main Street. Friends, neighbours, and family can enjoy great food, live music, stand-up comedy, and a variety of performances by local talent from dance to the martial arts. Children can enjoy pony rides, bouncy castles, arts and crafts, freckle contests, cookie decorating, a petting zoo, and of course, the carnival rides, to name a few! And of course, there are strawberries! Lots and lots of strawberries! A full list of events will be posted in early May.
