Weekend programs are developed to provide an age appropriate environment for children to learn about a variety of animal related topics. Each program includes guided tours of portions of the Zoo, theme-related activities and crafts, as well as an opportunity to go "behind the scenes" to meet animal experts and the animals that they work with. These programs include a majority of the time outdoors therefore appropriate clothing is required. Children are expected to be able to participate in the program both individually and in group settings. Children are allowed to bring cameras with them but should leave all other devices at home (music players, video game devices). All personal items are to be brought at child's own risk.
