Russian Music School was founded in 1997 by the Velichko Trio - two sisters and their mother who emigrated from Saint Petersburg. Educated by the top Russian music institutions such as the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in Saint Petersburg, the Trio was determined to pass on their teachings to a new generation of students in Canada. Our mission is to help our students reach their full potential in the principal instrument of their choice. We use methods of the Russian Music School System to help our students excel in music theory and performance
