Since 1999, Groove has been a performing arts highlight for the Allenby Forest Hill community. Parents looking for a structured, professional atmosphere built around fun have found that here at Groove. Without emphasis on competition the focus on high positive nature is what keeps this company growing. Groove projects a real family atmosphere, whether it be the home-made costumes or the warm loving teachers who make sure each child feels like the individuals they are. Groove is also one of the first dance studios that encourages children with special needs. Over the years children with autism, downs syndrome, and visual and hearing impairment have danced as well. Led by Angela Williams, Artistic Director of Groove School of Dance and Co-owner of Zodiactors Musical Theatre Company, Angela’s portfolio includes over 15 years of experience in jazz, ballet, gymnastics, hip hop, musical theatre and acro.

Groove introduces its new “Drama and Vocal Training Academy! This program will focus of building self-esteem in preparation for auditions and stage performances. Our goal is to prepare students to audition with complete confidence for television and movie roles and all theatre and school public speaking opportunities. All students will get professional voice training lessons and drama and acting classes. Each student will receive a professional resume, an accomplished repertoire of songs and monologues and a head shot and full biography as part of this program. Suitable for ages 4 and older. At the conclusion of the session, the older students will perform short monologues and the group will perform a musical theatre number.Date : 2013-07-02 to 2013-08-14

We offer a variety of different packages and themes for you to choose from - let's have fun on your child's birthday!! Groove parties will include many of the following activities: Warm-up, across the room combinations, crafts, dance games, mats, gymnastic skills, parachute, hula-hoops, rhythmic ribbons, costumes, glitter and tattoos and obstacle courses.
