Welcome to Ahavat Yisrael Hebrew School! We are an independent, not for profit, supplementary Jewish Hebrew School with locations in North York, Thornhill and Thornhill Woods! Ahavat Yisrael offers programs for Jewish children in Junior Kindergarten through to Grade Seven. Our curriculum includes an enhanced understanding of our Heritage and traditions as well as Hebrew reading, writing and language comprehension. With qualified teachers who foster a deep rooted love for their Judaism, we delve into Jewish history, bringing meaning to each holiday. We accept each student as an individual and accommodate special needs and learning disabilities through tutoring and resource programs. Our philosophy is Torah based and we teach from a traditional prospective. Family education workshops, guest speakers and interactive special events, are utilized in order to introduce your entire family to our community Hebrew School.
