A Cool Classical Journey

The OSM is proud to be offering this year a new event, “A Cool Classical Journey”, which will take place simultaneously at Maison symphonique de Montréal and at Place des Arts’s Cinquième Salle and Studio-Théâtre on Saturday, August 11. Kent Nagano extended the following invitation to the community: “In designing this new musical event, we wanted to offer the Montreal community and visitors a new opportunity to celebrate the beauty of classical music in summertime, right at the heart of the city. In only one day, audiences will be able to attend a broad spectrum of concerts, featuring the OSM, its new Chamber Choir, international guest artists as well as new rising talents, all this in an accessible format. We look forward to sharing these musical moments with as large an audience as possible, particularly newcomers wishing to discover the repertoire.” In other words, the general public is invited to experience the OSM and discover classical music in all its forms at the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles. A great summertime event presented by the OSM with 20 concerts each running 45 minutes, international musicians, and all of it in a spirit of accessibility and convenience.Date : Anytime
