The Loto-Québec World Choral Festival presented by Rona in Laval was born of the vision of its creative director Gregory Charles and fueled by the growing popularity of choral music, a dynamic art form and recreational pastime in Québec. Since its inception in 2005, the Loto-Québec World Choral Festival has grown by leaps and bounds. It is now a world-class national and international event, and is considered the largest gathering of choirs and vocal ensembles in North America. The festival has made Laval the Choral Music Capital of Québec and Canada, and injected new vigour into an often marginalised musical genre.
