The Adaptive Sports Foundation (formerly Eastern Townships Disabled Skiers Foundation) is a registered, non-profit, charitable organization founded in 1995. The mission of the Adaptive Sports Foundation is to establish, operate and maintain educational programs that encourage physically disabled and special needs children abilities through alpine skiing and water sports. The Foundation provides trained volunteers who assist these individuals to become as independent as possible in their chosen sport which fosters the development of self-confidence, self-motivation, increased physical strength and improved self-image while learning a lifelong sport/skill to be enjoyed with family and friends.
