Kids get to work in a variety of mediums, taking inspiration from the works of famous artists. If we are studying Andy Warhol, we silk screen and make ink blot paintings. If we are studying Picasso, we create acrylic on canvas cubist paintings and ceramics, if we are studying Frida Kahlo, we make paper-mache and paint acrylic on canvas self-portraits. You get the picture! We throw in a lot of age-appropriate art history! Did you know Andy Warhol had 25 cats named Sam? Did you know Georgia O’Keeffe ate dirt? Did you know Leonardo da Vinci wrote his notes in secret code? Curators tell captivating and inspiring stories in a fun and humorous manner about the life and work of the artist being introduced. Art classes for ages 2 and up!

The final painting is a magnificent masterpiece for the birthday person to treasure! Each guest also creates their own terrific silkscreen watercolour painting. Cost $185.00 + tax for 10 guests including birthday person. $15.00 per extra guest. $35.00 per extra 44″ x 44″ canvas. 4Cats recommends a maximum of 12 guests per 44″ x 44″ canvas. The birthday person pre-selects colours for their large canvas. Choose to have the 44″ x 44″ canvas masterpiece stretched gallery-style for $70.00 + tax. Final stretched size is 36″ x 36″. Optional to have the guests paint their pop art creations on a 11″ x 14″ pre-stretched canvas for an additional $6 + tax per child instead of the standard watercolour paper or a 9 x 12 canvas board for $3 each instead of the standard watercolour paper. Clay party!

Clay Party! Party runs for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Create a one of a kind hand built pottery project. Please note that creations must be dry before they are baked in the kiln. It takes approximately 3 weeks before items can be picked up. Cost: $185.00 + tax for 10 guests including birthday person. $15.00 per extra guest. 90 minutes of instruction time for clay parties also available (for parties at 3:15 PM only) for $225.00 plus tax. $16.00 per extra guest.
