What we’re looking for: Your personal parenting experiences, your wisdom and your Top Tips.
Whether you’re the expert in your business or at home (we know we’re the CEO’s of our homes) send us the scoop on what you think. Enlighten us but keep it relevant!

Length & Tone: Get to the point but keep it fun and friendly we say. Generally our articles run about 250-500 words. Our attention span is short so we like to keep the articles that way too.

We think you’re pretty: Pretty informative that is…Are you more comfortable in front of the camera than writing. Do you have a video that you want to send us instead? Scoop TV is in the works and we can make you famous, at least a little bit. So flatten that bed-head and get your flip-fone out. We’re still looking for the same great content plus some cool interviews. Get out to your kids activities and tell us why your love their classes and the businesses that run them. Send us the link and we’ll put you in the Scoop Spotlight.

Still don’t know what to write about? Send us a quick email and we’ll give you some ideas we have in our Scoop tickle truck on some Hot-Topics we know parents are talking about. We know everything from RESP’s to the “grossest things you’ve experienced as a parent” seems to get the conversation going.

Ownership of content: It’s all yours but by submitting to Scoop you agree to let us publish your article, blog, videos and rants for free through Scoop’s different media channels…that means, site, Facebook, Twitter, etc. We can publish you however you like. You want to be credited as the “Domestic Diva of the verge of a Breakdown” who are we to stop you.

We’re calling on you to participate in a focus group where you will have the opportunity to share your brilliant ideas, give your honest thoughts, offer your complaints and moan about what bugs you about our site. Basically is a role reversal with your kids but we’ll listen! We know your time is precious so we are asking for 2-3 hours a month.
