Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with smooth, efficient, and customized experience. You agree that we may use your personal information to:

• prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, and enforce our User Agreement;
• customize, measure and improve our services, content and advertising;
• tell you about our services and those of our corporate family, targeted marketing, service updates, and promotional offers based on your communication preferences; and

We may disclose personal information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone's rights, property, or safety. Such information will be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
We may also share your personal information with:

Service providers under contract who help with our business operations (such as fraud investigations, bill collection, affiliate and rewards programs and co-branded credit cards).
Other third parties to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information (or about whom you are otherwise explicitly notified and consent to when using a specific service).
Law enforcement or other governmental officials, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity. In such events, we will disclose information relevant to the investigation, such as name, city, province, postal code, telephone number, email address, and any other information required by these officials.
Other business entities, should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity. (Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this privacy policy with respect to your personal information. If your personal information will be used contrary to this policy, you will receive prior notice.)
Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy and our ability to keep the site free from unscrupulous persons, we will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement, other government officials, or other third parties without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity.

Q: What do I get when I buy the Scoop Card?

A: When you purchase the Scoop Card, you receive a personalized card in the mail that give you access to unique offers, services, and sales for a full year.  Unlike other programs that start on January 1st and end on December 31st, you'll receive 12 months of benefits regardless of when you subscribe.

Q: How will I be made aware of these offers?

A: You will have the option to receive offers via email, or SMS on your cellular phone. You setup these preferences when you register.

Q: What does it cost to post my classes on The Kids Scoop?

A: Posting your programs, classes or events on The Kids Scoop is 100% free. Simply register as a Service Provider and follow the instructions to start posting your classes and watch your enrollment grow.

Q: What types of services do you offer for Service Providers?

A: Although posting programs, classes, and events, are free, there is a fee for advertising on our site.  Please contact us for our current advertising opportunities.

Q: Can I market to your subscriber base?

A: Absolutely.  The power of The Kids Scoop is to help Service Providers find new customers.  By joining one of our Service Provider programs, you'll have the ability to slice up our database and create innovative marketing programs that you can send out to our subscriber base.  Please contact us for our current marketing opportunities.

Q: Can you help me with registrations?

A: The Kids Scoop is setup to help Service Providers take the headaches out of the registration process.  By following a few extra steps when you post a program, class, or event, you can opt to receive and accept online registrations.  When parents register their children for your class, you'll receive full payment, less a small administrative fee, and an email notification informing you of a new registration.  Imagine filling up your classes while you're sleeping!

Q: What happens if I need to change information about a class I've already posted on your website?

A: By using our intuitive Service Provider interface, you have full control over the ability to post and modify class information. 

Retailers:

Q: What can The Kids Scoop do for me?

A: The Kids Scoop is a marketing service for small and medium sized organizations.  Advertising on The Kids Scoop is an extremely cost effective way of reaching new markets for your goods and services, as well as creating greater loyalty with your existing customers. Additionally, by joining one of our Retailer programs, you'll have the ability to directly target a specific market in a given community(ies), therefore increasing your sales, again all at a very very low cost.

Q: How often can I target your subscriber base?

A: It depends on your level in our Retailer Program.  By joining a higher level, you can target the subscriber base more times per year.

Q: What is the Scoop Card?

A: The Scoop Card is similar to a loyalty or VIP Card.  However, rather than simply offer the typical 5% or 10% discount which we feel simply reduces your profit, we encourage and work with retailers to develop unique offerings to our members to get them buzzing and talking about your store and your products.  This has the effect of introducing a whole new market to your offering.  Obviously getting them in the door is only the beginning, now it's up to you to keep them happy.

Q: Can I sell my products on your site?

A: Not at this point.  This is something we plan to offer in a future release.
